Chicken wings at The Korean Cowgirl

Korean Cowgirl Chicken Wings

Say chicken wings and my ears will always perk up. After a few of my friends mentioned a restaurant not too far away called The Korean Cowgirl had some great chicken wings and I knew I had to try it out.

The restaurant is based in Canterbury, famous for the cathedral. The city center is very pretty and worth a visit.

The Korean Cowgirl serves American barbecue with an Asian twist and the restaurant has a great vibe.

The main items on the menu are brisket, ribs and chicken wings. The Asian influence is delicious and the result is some seriously finger licking sticky goodness.

I knew I wanted to try the chicken wings but there were other foods we wanted to try. We had to have a think about it over a drink and I was in the mood for a G&T.

G&T

I ordered chicken wings in different flavors, Honey Butter, Spicy and Soy Garlic, why settle for one flavor?!

I ordered a baby back stack, fall of the bone meat and a super sticky glaze.

I ordered some side dishes and tucked in.

The chicken wings, twice fried Korean style exceeded my expectations, the ribs were great and the G&T’s, well, one is not enough!

Extra sticky Korean cowgirl wings is hot or just mild. There was no explanation. From my experience in Korean atmosphere is a barbeque done slowly cooked if right and a bit over spicy than most expect.

      hi Ezeikel
I would say they were mild to medium hot but it depends on how much chilli you are used to. It is an American style barbecue, chicken wings twice fried as in the Korean cuisine and with Asian flavors, a delicious cross cuisine 🙂
